Event Coordinator/ Retail Management
Carole worked for 20 years in the hair and beauty industry. In the year 2000, she found a way to combine her passion for a very interactive, customer centered focus with her love of the Livermore Valley wine industry. At that time, Carole co-founded a bed and breakfast inn, ran a wine tasting room, and began planning weddings and other corporate events for a local winery. She has helped many times with the wine crush, making the wine, and all aspects of service to the customer. Carole then managed a specialty women’s clothing boutique in Pleasanton and continued to work events at wineries in the area. She went on to manage some of the food service activities at a local golf course and continued to help plan and execute events at a local winery. Carole is now at Crooked Vine Winery and back doing the things she loves best.

Wine Maker
Jaime Dowell grew up in Lafayette, CA where her mother's artistic talents and her father's musical tendencies shaped her love for the arts including wine making. She attended UC Davis and earned a degree in Viticulture and Enology, where she found a way to combine her passion for both the arts and science. After adventuresome European travels, wild San Francisco living and countless days in the Napa Valley, Jaime settled in Pleasanton in order to melt into the family business of selling art. Soon after, she found the opportunity to work at her dream job making small lots of wine from the exquisitely grown estate grapes of Del Arroyo Vineyards for both Crooked Vine and Stony Ridge Wineries. Everyday now she brings her well-earned-experience from Artesa, Cardinale, Lokoya, and Atalon with her to the cellar. In addition to finding her calling for wine making, Jaime also has a natural tendency for the art business. She now owns and manages Studio 7 Fine Arts, the Bay Area’s largest art gallery, in downtown Pleasanton. “I lead a very artful life. From the Cellar to the Gallery, every aspect of my life is filled with the opportunity for creativity. Life is good!”
